Two Authors
Two TRUSTED authors, I might add. Authors I’ve consistently read, admired and enjoyed.
They are Leslie Jamison and Anne Tyler. And I’ve read most of what each has written.
Through the years, I’ve appreciated each for her engaging storytelling and unique style of writing.
They both have newly published books. Leslie’s Jameson’s is “Splinters” and Anne Tyler’s is “Three Days in June.”
I have both on my Kindle.
One was pretty much all about a crying baby.
The other was all about a family wedding.
One was way, way, too long.
The other was too short. At least by my reckoning.
One I didn’t finish.
The other I tore through and plan to read again. And again. It’s that good.
I think we should take full advantage of as much “enjoyable,” “fun,” and “delightful” as we can find these days.. Grab onto it whenever and wherever we see it. Gobble it up and leave the rest behind.. No regrets. No guilt.
I don’t think I need to tell you which book I finished, Which book I loved and which book I will read again. And again. The titles speak for themselves.
